Objectives and Mission Statement

Our objectives include:

Promotion of regulatory and legislative action favorable to members business successes under the free enterprise system obtaining a high level of competency, integrity, and fair business practice on the part of the membership promotion of the public's awareness of, and confidence in, our members and the benefits provided by their service.

The IAR is the important bridge between your local Board/Association and the National Association of REALTORS®.  Membership in a local Board/Association automatically extends your membership to include affiliation with the Idaho Association and the National Association.  Membership is provided through an organization of 22 local Board/Associations of REALTORS® across the state and the IAR extends at-large membership to individuals where a local Board/Association does not exist.

Mission Statement
As the voice for Real Estate, the Idaho Association of REALTORS® supports and educates our members to enhance their professionalism and success. We provide resources to REALTORS® to conduct their business with integrity and competency while adhering to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. We strive to protect private property rights, promote equal housing opportunity and preserve the American Dream of homeownership.
