Congratulations to Danielle McNeal - IDAHO ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® 2010 SCHOLARSHIP WINNER

The Idaho Association of REALTORS® is proud to announce the winner of the 2010 IAR Education Scholarship program. The $750 scholarship was awarded to Danielle McNeal in Sandpoint. Danielle plans to attend Boise State University in the Fall, focusing on criminal justice and psychology. She is the daughter of REALTOR®, Laura DeLand, Associate Broker with Century 21 Riverstone in Sandpoint, and a graduate of Sandpoint High School.

Our commitment to support higher education is at the heart of the Idaho Association of REALTORS®’ desire to make a difference. “Thank you! It’s so helpful to my college education and helps me so much more than I could even say,” said Danielle McNeal. Helping to underwrite the cost of higher education for students from Idaho is a great way to positively impact both individuals and families here in our local communities.

“I’m just so excited that as REALTORS® we can actually help make a difference in someone else’s success, and meeting Danielle puts a face to that person and her success. We’re so excited for her,” said Julie DeLorenzo, IAR President.

This year’s applicants demonstrated academic excellence, embodied the principles of good citizenship and leadership, and showed a strong commitment to their educational endeavors and community. We congratulate Danielle on her achievements and look forward to hearing about her successes in the years to come!

The IAR Education Advisory Committee screened all submitted applications. The IAR Education Advisory Committee fosters the highest standard of professionalism in the real estate industry by providing college scholarships to aspiring Idaho students. The scholarship fund is supported directly from REALTORS®, industry Affiliate members and friends of the Idaho Association of REALTORS®.
