Get to Know Your Candidates

 

First Vice President (President 2019)

  • Candidate: Kit Fitzgerald

Kit Fitzgerald is a full time Realtor®, and Director of Sales for Red Barn Real Estate in Boise, ID. She helped jump start the company in the fall of 2007 after a four year stint as the Sales Director at CBH Homes. She began her real estate career in 2003 selling new construction.

She is a volunteer leader in many roles loves to give back. She served as the 2012 President for the Ada County Association of Realtors® and currently holds office as a Director of the National Association of Realtors along with the West District Vice President for the Idaho REALTORS.  Fitzgerald believes in honest, “all in” leadership and loves working to develop new leaders. She has received many awards including the Idaho Business Review’s Accomplished Under 40, a Distinguished Service Award, Platinum Top Producer, and Idaho Business Review’s Business Woman of the Year Recipient. In 2014 she graduated from the prestigious National Association of Realtors® Leadership Academy.

She has a BA in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Washington State University and a culinary certificate from L’Academie de Cuisine in Bethesda, MD.  Kit loves to cook, entertain, and spend time with her husband Ryan of 15 years, her 9 year old daughter Maeve, and her 6 year old son Finn.


 

 

East District Vice President (term 2017-2018)

    • Candidate: Jason Dixon

 

Jason Dixon is proud to be a native Idahoan.  Jason got an early start in the real estate industry working for a local home builder from the time he was 14 years old.  By the time he was 20 years old he was a lead framer and trim carpenter for one of the biggest home builders in S.E. Idaho.  In 2002, Jason ventured to get his real estate license and start selling homes. 

Since that time Jason has continued to make himself a better real estate agent by attending many real estate conferences, continuing education classes, earning his GRI, ABR, Green designations and serving in leadership positions for his local board of directors.  Jason currently serves as the President of the Greater Pocatello Association of Realtors®.  He has also served on the RPAC, PR, Golf, Nominating Committees, Building Remodel Task Force Chair and the Technology Committee, where he was instrumental in helping his association transition to a new MLS provider.

Jason has been married to his high school sweetheart for 19 years.  He has two amazing daughters that he will talk endlessly about at the drop of a hat if you just ask. Together with his family Jason enjoys waterskiing, waterskiing, running, golf, motorcycle riding, and camping.

    • Candidate: Patrick Malone

Since becoming a Realtor ® in 1998, Patrick has been actively involved in many facets our real estate industry. He has served the state association on the legislative, forms, and by-laws committees. 

On a local level, Patrick has served on almost every committee including being RPAC chair for two years. He is a strong RPAC supporter and is a Crystal R investor. In 2011 he was GIFAR President and is currently a State Director.

He has been active in CRS leadership since 2013, is currently on the Idaho Real Estate Commission Education Council and is a certified real estate instructor. Patrick has been President of Idaho Falls MLS and teaches new member orientation.

In his spare time, when he is not playing trumpet in an 18-piece Big Band, he serves on the Tautphaus Park Zoological Society. Patrick enjoys spending time hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and camping with his wife, Joann and his two sons, Ryan and Sean.

He is committed to furthering the success of our industry and looks forward to serving East Idaho as your District VP.


 

North District Vice President (term 2017-2018)

  • Candidate: Cindy Hunter

Cindy Hunter is an Associate Broker and GRI with Century 21 RiverStone in Sandpoint Idaho.  Cindy grew up in New York, New Jersey, Texas and California and with a love of exploring new places.  In 1996 she and her husband Mike discovered beautiful North Idaho, realized it was everything they had dreamed of and made it home.  Always having been a “people” person, Cindy began her career in HR.  Years later she pursued an even more intensely people-oriented role as a 9-1-1 operator in Los Angeles, where she thrived for many years.  Once she found her Idaho home a new career as a REALTOR soon followed. 

Graduating from the Idaho REALTORS Leadership Academy (Class of 2014) changed Cindy’s perspective from one of focused local leadership and expanded it to include the state and national levels. Cindy is currently serving as the North District Vice President for the Idaho Realtors and as Selkirk Association State Director (2015-2016), Selkirk MLS President (2015-2016) and President Elect.  Cindy currently serves on the NAR MLS Issues and Policies Committee (2016-2018), Idaho Realtors Scholarship Committee (Chair), and Chairs the Selkirk RPAC and Contracts Committee.  Cindy has been an NAR Certified Mediator since 2013. 

Cindy’s passionate personality carries over to her love of family (including the dogs), friends, all things outdoors (particularly time on the boat), Seahawk football, good music, books, and movies, great food and especially great laughs.   


 

West District Vice President (term 2017)*

  • Candidate: Georgia Meacham

Not a newcomer to the real estate industry, Georgia has a wide variety of experience in sales, leadership, education, and advocacy. 

She is a real estate broker, on the CWI faculty, a facilitator for the Idaho Realtor’s Leadership Academy, an on-line instructor for McKissock, and serves on the Idaho Real Estate Commission’s Education Council.

Currently, Georgia chairs NAR’s Housing Opportunity Committee overseeing grants for Housing Opportunity and Smart Growth and serves on numerous state and local association committee.

Georgia is an RPAC President’s Circle Hall of Fame Inductee and Idaho Realtor® of the Year 2008. 

She enjoys visiting new places, working on her culinary skills and creating moments with her family and friends.

 

 

 

NAR Director (term 2017-2019) 

  • Candidate: Tiffanie Mai-Ganske

Tiffanie Mai-Ganske is a patient, knowledgeable, and diligent Realtor who has served the Pocatello area for 21 years. Tiffanie received a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Training specializing in Real Estate in 2000 from Idaho State University. Her service to the Idaho Realtors membership over 13 years has spanned many areas and it was her utmost privilege to serve as Idaho Realtors president in 2015. Tiffanie has been recognized by her peers as Idaho Realtor of the year in 2012 and as Greater Pocatello Association Realtor of the year in 2006 and 2012.  A great listener, Tiffanie is selfless in her devotion to high ethical conduct and openly shares her time, talents and resources. She knows every person is unique and strives to provide individualized, personal service both in her business and her association roles. With a passion for giving back to the real estate industry and her community, Tiffanie truly loves helping people become homeowners and helping fellow Realtors succeed by serving at her local, state and national associations.
