2015 Idaho REALTORS® Scholarship Recipient:
La Cheale Linscott!
A Family and Future in Real Estate
A recent graduate of Sandpoint High School, 2015 Idaho REALTORS® scholarship recipient La Cheale Linscott will be attending North Idaho College this fall. With an early interest in business and computers, La Cheale was the only graduating senior who completed all business classes offered at Sandpoint High School.
Serving as Vice President of the Business Professionals of America (BPA), La Cheale followed the organization's mission to "contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic and technological skills."
La Cheale will continue working at First American Title while completing her Associates degree as an Administrative Assistant at North Idaho College. She plans to then pursue her Bachelors degree at Boise State University.
Following the footsteps of many family members, "it's no accident," she says, "that I have a real estate profession in mind." Her great-grandmother is said to be one of the first female brokers in Idaho and her great-grandfather and great uncle were both REALTORS®. This year her uncle and father reached their 31st years as REALTORS®, while her grandmother celebrates her 51st year!
There is "true passion within to continue my family's legacy," says La Cheale, who notes that her family has taken active leadership roles in the industry at both the local and state levels.
"Words just can't express how grateful I am to be the recipient of this scholarship," she adds, "This is such an incredible honor."
From Idaho REALTORS®, congratulations and all the best in your bright future, La Cheale!
